At Heart & Soul we are made up of a dedicated team experienced in all kinds of production.
Jenny Sutton - Production Manager
Jenny has overseen Heart & Soul’s production department over the last decade, from Britain's Best Walks back in 2016/17, to A Slow Odyssey: The Great Wall of China in 2019. She expertly guided in our latest deliveries of a C5 1x90’ doc, The Great Wall: The Making of China, and two feature-doc BBC Arena Films for 2021 - Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and the Legendary Tapes, and B.Catling: Or Where Does It All Come From?
Edward Mills - Editor/Camera Operator
Ed has been across both camera & editing during his time at Heart & Soul. He's worked on two ITV Walking shows, edited BBC4s A Slow Odyssey: The Great Wall of China, was the reversion & Online editor for My Autistic Big Brother & Me for BBC Wales, and edited a C5 Great Wall feature-doc soon to be released. In 2020-21, Ed was DoP on BBC Arena film B. Catling and Post-production Supervisor on feature-doc Arena Delia Derbyshire, which was released at The London Film Festival. He was also assistant editor on Ben Wheatley’s newly-released movie In The Earth.
Georgia Robson - Production Co-ordinator
Georgia has worked her way up from Researcher on Britain's Best Walks, now taking on the role of our Production Co-ordinator across all of our current projects. She has also proven her skills in other areas of production, with her proudest moment being when she recorded audio of Sir David Attenborough for the Lyme Regis Museum.
Rosie Harwood - Researcher
Rosie joined Heart & Soul in August 2022 after completing a first-class degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Rosie has already gained experience from her time as Junior Researcher for the 2019 documentary A Slow Odyssey: The Great Wall of China, to her role devising original content and events for the 2022 Watersprite Film Festival. Since then, Rosie has been delighted to be our Researcher here at Heart & Soul Films.
Anya Kalirai - Production Co-ordinator
Anya first worked with the Heart & Soul team after completing her History degree at the University of York, majoring in South Asian history. She was thrilled to be a part of Doddy Day 2020 - working with talent such as Lee Mack, Stephan K. Amos and Stephanie Cole, and helped with the final post-production delivery of two Arena films to the BBC, as well as assisting the producer of Ben Wheatley’s new movie In The Earth, released in 2021.
Ada Barumé - Researcher
Ada first worked with the Heart & Soul team in 2019. With her experience in cutting edge journalism, translation skills (fluent in both Spanish and French) and her 1st Class degree from Cambridge University in Human, Social and Political Sciences, Ada has been a fantastic addition to the H&S gang as a Trainee Researcher.
